Mallon Associates is a light-weight company. We out-source all of our facilities, corporate services, accounting, legal, and most of our instructor team are freelance. This structure keeps us nimble and able to quickly adjust to the demands of our business.

Our core team and instructors are physically dispersed, working from small or home offices, or on-site with clients. To communicate and work effectively with each other, we make extensive use of modern internet technology, including video conferencing.

One advantage of our model is that our people may be based almost anywhere in the world. However, the structure requires that if you wish to become one of the team, you must be self motivated, able to work for long periods on your own, and comfortable using internet collaboration technology. If you need the constant buzz and hubbub of an office environment, it is unlikely that our positions are suitable for you.

director of enterprise training

Working with the management team to define and drive our business strategies, and our clients to ensure their success. Touching everything from business development to execution. You should have senior management experience in a global enterprise, ability to work with clients at the highest level, and ideally knowledge of technology training in the financial services industry. This is an international position and would require travel to the US, Asia and the Far East.

technical curriculum lead

Working with our clients, the management team and our principal instructors, you will help to build curricula, write and manage the creation of material, and further develop our technology for custom material management. This is a technical position requiring strong computer science skills, and proficiency in one or more of Unix, Windows, C++, Java, C#, SOA, and enterprise technologies. You must have excellent writing and structural skills, an understanding of teaching, and the ability to see beauty in a page.

principal instructor

Teaching from our extensive application development and enterprise infrastructure curriculum, instructors should usually have a bachelors, masters or doctoral degree in a computer related field, at least five years relevant business experience, be a subject matter expert, and have excellent communication and presentation skills. Positions exist for both full-time and freelance instructors who are fascinated by the training experience, are passionate about technology and their students, and are able to spend significant time working overseas.
